Overview

Chitwan is one of Nepal’s most famous wildlife destinations. Located in the southern part of Nepal in Bagmati Province, Chitwan is home to the world-renowned Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Established in 1973, Chitwan National Park is Nepal’s first national park. It covers forests, grasslands, rivers, and wetlands.
